Lordswood ended Bromley's unbeaten start to the season by knocking them out of the Plaayer Cup.

In a hard fought contest the game was decided when Jim Coulson rose at the far post to head in a long throw from Ben Ashdown. With Ben back to his defensive best and Jim, Ben White & Bruno Marques controlling midfield, the boys gave their best performance so far this season. Goalie Sam Leadsham looked assured and with clever front play from Jamie Lee & David Abe coupled with deadly crossing from Scott Gillmam, the Bromley goalkeeper was always going to be the busier.

The game was stopped before half time when it was feared Sean Fassum had broken his ankle. Thankfully his injury was not as bad as first feared.
