    Lordswood came away from the seaside with all three points after a gritty performance and a debut goal from Ricky Freeman.

    The game started slowly as both teams got used to the bumpy pitchand the first real chance came in the 25th minute when Sean Hetterley's long throw into the area was flicked on by Stuart Harrison for debutant Ricky Freeman but from six yards out he headed wide. Deal's first real chance came in the 28th minute and they scored when Adam Covey's long throw into the area saw Clint Gooding head clear but straight at Jorden Barnett who from 10 yards volleyed in. Twelve minutes later Lordswood equalised when Clint Gooding knocked it into the area for Ray Broad whose shot was blocked and the ball ended up in the area where Adam Ling was and he hooked the ball into the net from 6 yards.

    Deal nearly took the lead in the 49th minute when a misplaced pass from Clint found Davidson who knocked it forward for Barnett but he shot over the bar. In the 57th minute Lordswood's Sean Hetterley passed the ball forward for Ricky Freeman to run on to and he out muscled the defender and went into the area and shot home for a debut goal which followed his hat trick for the reserves the previous week which was his debut for them. Six minutes later Lordswood nearly increased their lead when a ball into the area was half cleared to Clint 30 yards out and he saw the keeper off his line and his attempted lob was saved by the keeper rushing back. Three minutes later the game should have been wrapped up when Ashley running out of defence passed the ball out wide on the right for Ricky who ran on and passed inside for Sean Hetterley but his shot from 12 yards came back off the post with the keeper well beaten. The rest of the game saw Deal throw everything at Lordswood but good defending and bad play made sure of a Lordswood victory.
